Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Evidalux. By creating an account you agree to them.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Evidalux is operated by Fidordia Yazılım Teknolojileri Anonim Şirketi, a company registered in Türkiye (MERSİS 0387146001500001), with its registered office at Kızılırmak Mah. Dumlupınar Blv. No: 3, C-1, İç Kapı No: 160, 06510 Çankaya / Ankara, Türkiye. In these terms, "we", "us" and "Evidalux" mean that company. You can reach us at support@evidalux.com.
2. What the service does
Evidalux runs automated audits of websites against regulatory and accessibility requirements — GDPR and ePrivacy signals, cookie and consent practice, legal-page coverage, and WCAG accessibility — and watches published regulatory sources for changes that affect you. Reports include a confidence level and a description of how each check works.
Our findings are informational. They are not legal advice and they are not a certification. An audit that reports no issues is not a statement that your website complies with any law, and you remain responsible for your own compliance. Automated checks miss things and sometimes flag things that turn out to be fine — that is why every finding carries a confidence level and a stated method.
Some checks use AI models — language and vision models that run on our own servers — to read page text and screenshots. AI output can be wrong: findings that rest on a model's reading are marked with the confidence level "Suspected", and you should verify them before acting on them.
3. You must be authorised to scan the target
This is the most important obligation in these terms. You may only submit a website that you own or that you have permission to test, and you are responsible for holding that permission. Some checks — in particular active security testing — send traffic that a site owner could reasonably regard as intrusive. Those checks are off by default and you must explicitly enable them.
You agree not to use Evidalux to test, probe or monitor any system without authorisation, and to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service against a target you were not entitled to test.
4. Accounts
The service is for business use. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account details. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including actions by people you invite to it, and for keeping credentials safe. Tell us promptly at support@evidalux.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
5. Plans and payment
Paid plans are sold through Paddle.com Market Ltd, which acts as the Merchant of Record: Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles payment and applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues the invoice. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. We never see or store your card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then. Prices for a running subscription do not change mid-term; if we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will tell you before it does.
Each plan sets how many sites you can monitor, how often each site can be scanned and how many pages a scan covers. These limits are shown on the pricing page and in the app.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Evidalux to break the law, to infringe someone else's rights, to attack or overload systems, to resell raw scan capacity as if it were your own infrastructure, or to circumvent plan limits. Do not use Evidalux, including its AI-assisted checks, to make decisions about individual people's employment, credit, housing, insurance or education. Do not upload content you have no right to upload. We may suspend an account that is causing harm, and we will tell you why.
7. Your content and our service
You keep all rights in the websites you submit and in the data you enter. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to fetch and analyse the target you submit, to generate reports, and to store the results in your account.
We keep all rights in Evidalux itself — the platform, the checks, the scoring methodology and the report formats. Reports we generate for you are yours to use and share.
8. Availability
We work to keep Evidalux available and we monitor it, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-service plans. Scans can also fail for reasons outside our control: the target site may block us, rate-limit us, or be down. A failed scan is reported as failed rather than reported as a pass.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss.
In particular, and because it is the likeliest dispute in a product like this: we are not liable for a regulatory outcome, a lost tender, or a penalty that follows from relying on an automated finding. Treat the reports as evidence to act on, not as a guarantee.
10. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by writing to support@evidalux.com. We may end or suspend the agreement if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service — in the last case we will give reasonable notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid period. When an account closes we delete its data as described in the Privacy Notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes affecting a paid subscription we will give at least 30 days' notice by email before they take effect, and you may cancel before they do. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
12. Governing law
If you are located in the United States or Canada, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are located anywhere else, these terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye and the courts of Ankara have jurisdiction.
In either case, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence — if you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or elsewhere, the rights that your local law gives you regardless of contract continue to apply. Your purchase from Paddle is separately governed by Paddle's own terms.
